Olympique Marseille starts a new era with their Italian manager Roberto De Zerbi. The Italian tactician arrives at the Velodrome after a very good spell in England with Brighton & Hove Albion. But now De Zerbi wants the ultimate prize – to beat PSG for the Ligue 1 title.

On the market Olympique Marseille seriously strengthened their squad. They signed Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood while they also bought Watford’s Ismael Kone, Lorient’s Bamo Meite and Ajax’s Geronimo Rulli. One of the interesting additions in the team is the Danish international Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg who arrived from Tottenham.

Now it’d be interesting to see how De Zerbi will leave his mark in one of the biggest French clubs. Surely he’s a coach who has a bright reputation, but beating PSG for the title is going to be a challenge. Can Marseille do it? Well – why not?
